The first step is to believe that what you desire is possible.
But belief is a choice.
Self-belief separates those who achieve from those who don’t.
You can choose to believe you ‘can’ or you ‘cannot’.
It is as simple as that.
That is why some people believe something is possible whereas others believe it is impossible.

What do you expect from life?

Scientists used to think that we respond to every piece of information flowing into our brains.
But now, thanks to modern technology, we know that our brains are very selective.
We make unconscious decisions in the present based on what we learned in the past.
In reality, your brain anticipates what will happen.

When your unconscious mind receives a piece of information, it searches your memory for the closest match.
And when it finds a match it delivers a pre-programmed response.
And this is all happening unconsciously.
This is how your past experiences affect how you respond in the present.

What is more, you spend your whole life becoming conditioned.
Through a lifetime of events, your mind learns what to expect.
Whether it actually happens that way or not.
And because your brain unconsciously anticipates how something will happen, you often actually achieve what you anticipate.

The Power of Expectation

It is so important to have positive expectations if you want to achieve success.
When you replace your old negative expectations with positive ones, when you believe what you want is possible, your mind will make that expectation a possibility for you.
Your mind will expect you to achieve what you desire.

Practice having positive expectations over and over.
Then your positive expectations will become hardwired in your unconscious mind.
And as a result, your positive thoughts will become automatic and eventually a reality.

You can achieve anything if you believe with total conviction and act accordingly.
That is what the most successful people do.
Whatever your mind can conceive and believe your mind can achieve.
Believe in yourself and just go for it.
Sooner or later you will achieve what you want because you think you can achieve it.

Just create a space within your mind where everything is possible and nothing is impossible.
Question all your assumptions about what is possible and be open to every new possibility.
So remember, it is not what you don’t know that holds you back.
But it is what you do know, that is not true, that holds you back.

Behave as if you have achieved

One of the most effective ways to achieve success is to act as if you have already achieved the success you desire.
You must think like, talk like, dress like, act like and feel like you have already achieved your success.

Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail.

Say your goal is to reduce your weight, then you need to act, think, talk and feel like you are slim.
If you think, talk and feel like you are overweight, then you will not reduce your weight forever.
Or if your goal is to enjoy flying, then you need to act, think, talk and feel like someone who regularly flys and enjoys it.

Don’t wait until you have achieved your goal to start thinking, acting, talking and feeling like the person you want to be.

Behaving as if you have already achieved your goals sends powerful messages to your unconscious mind to find creative ways to help you achieve your goals.

You can start right now acting as if you have already achieved your goals by:

  • radiating self-confidence
  • asking for what you want
  • saying what you don’t want
  • thinking that anything is possible
  • taking risks

Behaving in this way, as if you have already achieved your goals, will create an internal unconscious experience that will propel you to create the happiness you desire.
