Probably the number one reason why some people don’t believe the impossible is possible is due to limiting beliefs.
Whatever you believe, you can achieve.
Your mind is so powerful it can deliver anything you desire.
If you believe the impossible is possible, then your mind will make it a reality.
Believe what you desire is possible.
But remember belief is a choice.
Self-belief separates those who achieve from those who don’t.
You can choose to believe you ‘can’ or you ‘cannot.
It is as simple as that.
That is why some people believe the impossible is possible whereas others believe the opposite.
What do you expect from life?
Scientists used to think that we respond to every piece of information flowing into our brains.
But now, thanks to modern technology, we know that our brains are very selective.
We make unconscious decisions in the present based on what we learned in the past.
In reality, your brain anticipates what will happen.
When your unconscious mind receives a piece of information, it searches your memory for the closest match.
And when it finds a match it delivers a pre-programmed response.
And this is all happening unconsciously.
This is how your past experiences affect how you respond in the present.
What is more, you spend your whole life becoming conditioned.
Through a lifetime of events, your mind learns what to expect.
Whether it actually happens that way or not.
And because your brain unconsciously anticipates how something will happen, you often actually achieve what you anticipate.
The Power of Expectation
The first way for you to believe the impossible is possible is to have positive expectations.
When you replace your old negative expectations with positive expectations, when you believe the impossible is possible, your mind will make that positive expectation a reality for you.
Your mind will expect you to achieve what you desire.
Practice having positive expectations over and over.
Then your positive expectations will become hardwired in your unconscious mind.
And as a result, your positive thoughts will become automatic and eventually a reality.
You can achieve anything if you believe with total conviction and act accordingly.
That is what the most successful people do.
Whatever your mind can conceive and believe your mind can achieve.
Believe in yourself and just go for it.
Sooner or later you will achieve what you want because you think you can achieve it.
Just create a space within your mind where everything is possible and nothing is impossible.
Question all your assumptions about what is possible and be open to every new possibility.
So remember, it is not what you don’t know that holds you back.
But it is what you do know, that is not true, that holds you back.
Behave as if you have achieved
The second way for you to believe the impossible is possible is to act as if you have already achieved the success you desire.
You must think like, talk like, dress like, act like and feel like you have already achieved your success.
Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail.
– Charles F. Kettering (Inventor)
Say your goal is to reduce your weight, then you need to act, think, talk and feel like you are slim.
If you think, talk and feel like you are overweight, you will not reduce your weight forever.
Or if your goal is to enjoy flying, then you need to act, think, talk and feel like someone who regularly flies and enjoys it.
Don’t wait until you have achieved your goal to start thinking, acting, talking and feeling like the person you want to be.
Behaving as if you have already achieved your goals sends powerful messages to your unconscious mind to find creative ways to help you achieve your goals.
The Reticular Activating System (RAS), which is part of your unconscious mind, will start alerting you to anything that might help you achieve your goals.
You can start right now acting as if you have already achieved your goals by:
- radiating self-confidence
- asking for what you want
- saying what you don’t want
- thinking that anything is possible
- taking risks
- celebrating your successes.
Behaving in this way, as if you have already achieved your goals, will create an internal unconscious experience so you believe the impossible is possible.
Do you want to believe the impossible is possible?
We are all held back by the past to some extent or another.
You are an accumulation of all the events leading up to today.
We all develop limiting beliefs of what we think is possible and what is impossible.
But hypnosis can help you believe the impossible is possible.
Hypnosis can help you wipe away your limiting beliefs, and build your self-esteem and confidence.
Hypnotherapy allows you to make and create new neural connections based on positive thoughts, not negative ones. Hypnosis allows you to connect with your memories so you can take new meaning and learn from them, in a positive way to enhance your present life and help you make the impossible come true.
It can help you practice positive thinking and help you recalibrate your expectations of what is possible.
