Most sessions last one hour. However for some issues, like weight reduction and stop smoking, sessions can be 2 hours long.

However, I cannot guarantee you will overcome your problem because there are so many factors that can affect the outcome.

No hypnotherapist can guarantee you will overcome your problems because hypnotherapy is a collaborative process and your input is essential for therapy to be successful.

For hypnotherapy to be successful, firstly you must believe it is possible that you can overcome your problem, and secondly, you should believe it is possible that hypnotherapy can help you achieve your goals. If you have these two beliefs, then you have a solid foundation to work from.

No, you are not asleep during hypnosis.
During hypnosis, most people are fully aware of what is happening and what is being said.

This will depend on your issue.
For example, general anxiety disorder can be treated in about 6 sessions, irritable bowel syndrome in 7 sessions and weight reduction requires 5 sessions. More complex issues such as chronic depression can require about 10-12 sessions.
At the end of the free consultation, I will be able to give you an indication of how many sessions you are likely to need to resolve your issue.
