Hypnotherapy uses the power of hypnosis to help you make positive changes and live a happier life from the comfort of your home.
In a state of heightened awareness you open your mind to new ways of thinking and see your life from a new brighter perspective.
Hypnotherapy is optimistic and liberating because it is forward-looking and solution-focused.
Unlike other types of psychological therapy, you will not spend your time focusing on your problem.
Instead, you will focus your subconscious mind and attention on how you want to live your life.
Most of us like to stay in our comfort zone and we tend to avoid change if we can help it.
We are creatures of habit and find it hard to change habits of a lifetime.
Deep-rooted behaviours and habits are controlled by your subconscious mind which helps to keep you safe and protect you from danger.
Hypnosis allows you to make changes on a subconscious level.
You explore your subconscious thoughts in hypnosis and change those unwanted behaviours and habits.
Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee you will change your unwanted behaviours, thoughts or feelings because there are so many factors that can affect the outcome.
Individual results can vary.
There is no guarantee that hypnotherapy will be effective in every case.
For hypnotherapy to be successful you need to be open to change and fully committed.
You are not asleep during hypnosis.
During hypnosis you are fully aware of what is happening and what is being said.
You may look like you are asleep because your body is totally relaxed, but hypnosis is not the same as sleep.
Every session is unique and tailored to your individual needs.
Most sessions last an hour.
However for some issues, like addictions, then sessions can be 1 and a half hours or even 2 hours long.
Everyone experiences hypnotherapy in a unique way.
Most people experience a type of daydream, where they are deeply relaxed and learn to make the positive changes to their lives.
Hypnotherapy does not need you to know all the reasons for your worries and fears.
For example, stop smoking therapy getting takes one or two sessions, general anxiety disorder can be treated in about three sessions, but weight reduction requires a longer treatment plan.
All therapy is always centred around you. You will always be in control and lead the process.
I act as your guide and provide support but I am not in the driving seat.
It would not be right for me to decide the direction you take in your life.
For true progress to happen, you have to be open to my guidance but I cannot walk in your shoes or know all that you are.
I can only help you to reorganise your thoughts in a more positive way.
